The Ontario Amateur Softball Association annually presents an award to an outstanding coach in memory of Gil Read. Gil Read was an outstanding coach, instructor and leader who made innumerable contributions to the game of softball at the community, provincial and national levels.

Nominations are open to all coaches of any O.A.S.A affiliated team in good standing. Nominations will be accepted from any interested person(s).

Complete the application form and submit as per the instructions, along with any additional letters of support.. Please submit the form before September 15 of the current year.
