Effective April 2022 OASA has implemented a new individual Membership Registration System (MRS) that will require all Association Contacts, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Managers and Players to create a unique profile for OASA to administer and manage our teams and events. The system is expected to streamline activities for both teams as well as OASA administrators by electronically capturing all of the necessary data and waivers and documentation that previously was collected manually.
The initial rollout of the system will be for Association Contacts (or Independent Team Contacts), Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers to register. Once the Associations and Teams have been created we will open it up for individual players to register. Players who did not play in 2021 within OASA will be required to provide a birth certificate or other proof of date of birth online as part of the process. All individuals will be able to have multiple roles within multiple associations or on multiple teams as required to indicate where they are playing or coaching within OASA. There will be an annual fee of $15 per person, no matter how many roles or teams an individual is associated with.
After the players have registered the coaching staff or Association Contact will be able to create their teams online through the system. All teams planning to play in any OASA tournament will need to have all of their players and coaches registered and active on the MRS in order to participate.
For your reference is a step by step document as well as a short video of the process to register.
