STATEMENT ON THE USE OF COMPRESSION SLEEVES IN SOFTBALL CANADA COMPETITION
(Bantam and up)

The use of compression sleeves has become common among softball players across the country. Softball Canada will follow these guidelines when allowing the use of compression sleeves.

1. Compression sleeves may be worn by any player, but must be worn at full length and not be rolled or pushed up or pulled down.
2. If worn, compression sleeves must be worn on both arms.
3. The compression sleeves must colour match any other compression sleeves or undergarment sleeves worn by any players on the team.

In short, compression sleeves are permitted and will be treated as an undergarment under the uniform rules currently in place.

NEW JUNIOR MITE FORMAT

For 2016 , the Junior Mite division will follow a coach-pitched format rather than player-pitched, if enough teams are interested.
If you have any team that would consider participating in a Junior Mite Provincial Tournament, please email by clicking here. The deadline to affiliate a team is June 15.
