Vision Statement

The Ontario Amateur Softball Association is recognized as a preeminent developmental body for softball in Canada.

Mission Statement

The objects of the OASA shall be to:1. Coordinate, organize and give structure to the game of softball for participants of all ages in Ontario through:
a) provision of venues and guidelines for competition
b) provision of a learning environment for players, coaches, officials and other individuals and groups in the softball community
c) promoting accessibility to the game to any who wish to play, coach or officiate
d) provision of a forum for dialogue among its members and the larger softball community
e) representation of its members at the local, provincial, national, and international levels
f) creation of opportunities for groups and individuals in Ontario to:
– compete on a fair basis
– participate in the game locally,
provincially, nationally and internationally
– develop skills
2. Recognize excellence through:
a) provision of awards for individual, team and member organization achievements
b) publication of achievements of individuals, teams, and member organizations
3. Promote the game of softball yearlong.
